Katherine Fletcher - Senior Vice President and Partner, Managing Director

Katherine Fletcher is Senior Vice President and Managing Director of iStudio, one of Canada's leading Internet Communication firms. A founding member of the company, she has led the development of iStudio's online communications practice. In addition to managing the time, talents and expertise of the iStudio team as they work on multiple projects, she also participates in marketing, client relations and strategic planning of innovative Web sites and online programs.

Katherine has been active in the design and development of Internet products since 1996. Her knowledge management expertise led her to develop the "iAudit", an analytical process used to develop a strategic plan for Web development that integrates an organization's business processes and communications objectives and sets measurable objectives and tactics.

Katherine works with organizations to develop plans, processes and policies to ensure the Internet is an integrated part of their strategic marketing and communication plans. Her clients include the Canadian Wheat Board, Canadian Bankers Association, Canadian National Railway, Canadian Council on Learning, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Association, and RBC Capital Markets.

Katherine Fletcher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with combined honours, Biology and Economics, from Dalhousie University, and has published articles on information systems in both the trade and academic press. In addition to speaking and workshop engagements, Katherine has taught a professional development course for communications and marketing professionals at Algonquin College called PR and the Web. This course is designed for the public relations professional or communications manager who must incorporate the Internet into their overall communications strategy.
